Main goal of the position
In this role, together with your team members, you are primarily responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely execution of HR operations for your region. Additionally, you are responsible for delivering an excellent employee experience.
The position
As the leader of the HR Operations team (5 people) for Europe and the Rest of the World, you will ensure seamless HR administration and payroll services across the designated regions (the Netherlands, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and Australia).
You will oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of salaries, bonuses, benefits, and deductions. Compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies will be a key responsibility.
With an innovative mindset, you will drive process improvements to enhance the employee experience. Collaboration with HR business leaders and cross-functional teams will be essential in identifying and implementing operational enhancements.
Your role will involve managing employee records, coordinating HR activities, and preparing HR and payroll reports. Additionally, you will support your team members’ professional development and stay up to date with HR trends and regulations to ensure best practices within HR Operations.
In this position you will report to the Global HR Operations Lead.
The profile
• bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
• minimum of eight years of experience in HR Operations, with at least four years in a leadership role overseeing payroll and HR administration functions;
• strong understanding of international payroll processes, HRIS systems, and labor laws and regulations;
• proven experience in process improvement and optimization within HR Operations;
• excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills;
• strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail;
• ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams in a dynamic environment;
• proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g. HRIS, payroll software, MS Office);
• fluent in English, both spoken and written.
This role allows for hybrid work, but you recognize the importance of maintaining the right balance. You value personal connections with your team and colleagues to further professionalize HR Operations.
The position is also open to international candidates who are already residing in the Netherlands with a valid work permit.
