For these European production/warehouse facilities (Netherlands and Serbia) we are searching for an EHS Manager Europe. 

Position
As a European EHS Manager you will provide strategic direction for Valvoline’s environmental, health and safety management system and has responsibility for developing, executing and sustaining EHS compliance, risk management and sustainability programs in Europe. You will also have a leadership role for the onsite EHS activities at Valvoline’s two locations in The Netherlands.   

As a real people manager, you will lead the team of European EHS professionals and you will be EHS responsible for the European production facilities (Serbia, approx 100-120 fte), Dordrecht (production) and Klundert (warehouse) locations (approx 65-70 fte). You have three direct reports (EHS Engineers) in these two production locations. You will develop an annual and three-year strategic plan to identify, develop, execute, and sustain EHS/sustainability programs and related training consistently across Valvoline European sites.  Next to this you will lead the EHS functions at the Dordrecht and Klundert facilities ensuring compliancy to applicable local legislation such as Seveso (BRZO) at Klundert. 

Your Profile

• you hold a bachelor degree;
• you are an experienced EHS Manager;
• you have international leadership experience;
• you have solid understanding of risk assessment and control methodologies;
• you have detailed knowledge of formal auditing practices;
• you have working knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements and EHS management systems in the Netherlands;
• knowledge of BRZO is a pre;
• you are fluent in Dutch and English and comfortable working in an international business environment;
• Willing to travel (<20%) mainly within Europe.
