Main goal of the position
The Group PMO Lead is responsible for building and leading a high-performing, group-wide PMO that ensures the disciplined execution of Walraven’s strategy.
Key priorities include establishing a scalable PMO framework, ensuring the successful delivery of strategic programmes, and creating transparency in planning, performance and resource allocation.

The position 
As Group PMO Lead, you are responsible for leading and further developing Walraven’s project, programme and portfolio management capabilities. You ensure that strategic initiatives are clearly defined and delivered effectively, on time, within budget and with measurable impact.
You establish and continuously improve a structured, group-wide PMO methodology, including governance, standards and tools. You introduce clear decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy and compliance requirements.
The role includes ownership of portfolio planning and prioritisation, providing senior leadership with clear, data-driven insights and real-time reporting on progress, risks and performance.
You oversee key transformation programmes, support project leaders and strengthen execution discipline across the organisation. Developing project management capabilities and introducing digital tools are important elements of the role.
As a strategic advisor, you work closely with senior leadership, challenging where necessary and contributing directly to major transformation initiatives. The position is based in Mijdrecht and has an international scope.

The profile

• master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field;
• relevant project management certifications are preferred (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, SAFe);
• at least five years of proven experience in PMO, programme or project management;
• fluent in Dutch and English;
• experience in an international environment, preferably within a manufacturing organisation;
• strong track record of managing complex, cross-functional programmes;
• excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;
• strong analytical capabilities and financial acumen;
• ability to operate effectively at executive level while remaining hands-on;
• results-driven, structured and decisive, with a strong sense of ownership;
• strong cultural fit with a values-driven, international family business.

Process
There will be several interview rounds with representatives from Lodiers & Partners and with our client. A personality questionnaire (Lumina) is part of this process.
