Main goal of the position
This role strengthens Giant’s presence in the e-bike market by creating and executing a unified global marketing strategy across Europe. You will oversee strategy development, coordinate European marketing efforts for consistent messaging and branding, lead the Lelystad-based team, and support increased consumer engagement and brand storytelling.
The position
As Global Marketing Manager E‑Bike, you will drive global marketing strategies to grow Giant’s e‑bike business and lead a European marketing team of eight persons. The role oversees both product marketing and broader regional campaigns, coordinating with European sales organisations for consistent messaging and local adaptation. Based in Lelystad, Netherlands, you report to Marcel Yang and Jeffrey Chin.
Responsibilities include go-to-market planning, brand positioning, integrated campaigns, and guiding the team for strong lead generation and engagement. You collaborate with product development for market fit, monitor campaign performance, optimise with data insights, and track industry trends, strengthening Giant’s marketing partnerships in Europe.
The profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related subject;
- several years of marketing experience, ideally in e bikes, bicycles or e mobility;
- a strong understanding of e bike technology and market dynamics;
- experience in both B2B and B2C marketing environments;
- proven track record in developing and executing international marketing strategies;
- demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing marketing teams;
- strong digital marketing skills, including experience with marketing automation or CRM tools;
- data driven mindset with strong analytical and decision making abilities;
- excellent communication, intercultural awareness and stakeholder influence skills;
- flexible, accountable, strategic and passionate about mobility and innovation.
Procedure
There will be several interview rounds with representatives from Lodiers & Partners in week 15 and 16 and with our client in week 17. As part of this procedure, you will be asked to complete a Lumina personality questionnaire.
