Main goal of the position
The HR Business Partner will support the Finance, IT, Legal and Sustainability and Corporate Communications departments in Rotterdam, which have a combined workforce of 250 employees. In this position you willl make an important contribution to every stage of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to development and exit.
The position
You will be the link between the needs of the business and the delivery of People and Culture support. With a focus on the Rotterdam organisation, you will advise, counsel and support Business Leaders and their respective teams across the European region. You will translate organisational objectives into concrete HR plans and support managers in executing them. Your responsibilities will include providing advise on workforce planning, performance managemet and talent management, guiding change initiatives and ensuring the consistent application of HR policies. To this end, you will use HR data to inform decisions and adjustments, working closely with the recruitment team, the HR Operational Team and other HR specialists. Your goal will be to drive and support operational and tactical human resources activities in order to develop high-value capabilities across the business and its various locations.
The profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Human Resources Management;
- a solid understanding of HR fundamentals and a minimum of 10 years' experience in HR, ideally gained within an international organisation;
- proficiency in HR system solutions (such as SuccessFactors) and/or other related tools is essential, as is knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- knowledge of Dutch social security and labour legislation is essential;
- while English is the primary language, proficiency in Dutch is also required.
Procedure
There will be several interview rounds, at Lodiers & Partners and with our client. A personality questionnaire (Lumina) is part of this procedure.
